A 2B model decides which camera-trap photos need a vision model.

About half of all camera-trap photos are empty. Strands Decider 2B looks at every frame first. Empty frames are skipped with no model call, animals go to Amazon Nova Lite or Nova Pro depending on how sure Decider is, and a person or vehicle goes to the ranger. On 600 frames from 71 cameras it had never seen, it skipped 48.4% of empty frames and missed 9 of 271 animal frames. Bedrock costs are estimates, because the account's Nova quota was 0.
